Andrea Schweitzer, 7th/8th Grade Spanish Teacher, is going to share some of her best practices and practical approaches with comprehensible input in the classroom.
Andrea Schweitzer has taught middle school Spanish at St. Rita Catholic School in Dallas, TX for the past 19 years. After hearing about Krashen's Input Hypothesis 15 years ago, she has continually been striving to learn more about language acquisition as well as the best practices for nourishing her students with the engaging, comprehensible (and comprehended!) input that they need to move along their individual paths to proficiency.
Additionally, Andrea is currently serving as the ACTFL CCLT SIG Secretary.
