The what, why, and how of Integrated Performance Assessments

What is an Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA)? Why should you consider implementing them in your classroom? How can you go about doing so?
This workshop will answer all of those questions and more. The first half of the workshop will cover the nuts and bolts of IPAs, especially IPAs geared towards the novice and intermediate level. Then, the presenters will work with the audience members to create their own IPAs. After this workshop, attendees will have the tools they need not only to construct their own IPAs, but also to articulate to students and school administrators the benefits of implementing them in the language classroom.
